How to get your artist profile on QQ music.
Step 1: Visit the following site: https://y.qq.com/artists/
Step 2: Click on the ‘Green Button’ and log in with your QQ Account or with your WeChat account. In both apps, you can scan the QR code with your phone.
Step 3: When logging in you have to grant access to QQ to get your WeChat Details, etc. In some cases, you have to click the ‘Green Button’ again, and then you will be redirected to the following page.
Step 4: (In my case as an independent music producer I choose the first one).
The person with the microphone: If you are a new artist/existing artist you can click on that.
Most will be using the services as an artist.
Step 5: After that process, you will be directed to this page, where you can fill in your details.
头像 — Choose your picture
类型 — Choose your type (from left to right): Male, Female, Group, Band or Virtual person
地区 — Choose your region
简介 — Introduction, give a short introduction about yourself (please in Chinese, you can use Google translator.)
Step 7: Here you have to upload proof that you own the music that is connected with the profile to claim the profile.
You can show the following proof:
Show an image of the file of the song on your desktop
Show a photo of you editing the song in your music production software
Show an image of you on the home screen where you can edit your Spotify profile
Show a picture of the song on QQ Music
Show a picture of the stats of the song on Spotify
Show a picture of the song details in Distrokid
歌曲名 （选填）- This is the name of the track you want to submit for proof and claim.
证明 （选填）- Here you have to upload the proof itself (Upload a snippet of the track itself in .mp3/zip file.
上传站外截图（选填)- Here you can upload screenshots of proof that you are the owner of the track. This is not mandatory but it’s advisable.
Step 8: Make sure to check and read the terms of the agreement. You cannot create an account if you don't check the terms of the agreement.
Step 9: After this process, it will ask you to upload your passport/document from the front side/back side and pictures of you with your face holding your passport.
Step 10: After you submitted your files you have to insert your phone number and receive a text message.
