When will I be able to access my listener statistics and collect my royalties?
Once your music has been successfully uploaded to our platform, we will review the content then send it to the Chinese streaming and media services. It takes about 4 weeks for your music to go live in China. The statistics are calculated on a quarterly basis, so 4 times a year. Data is collected at the end of each term at which time the sorting and reporting period begins, which is done manually due to the lag in automation of these procedures. The sorting and reporting period takes 6 months due to the manual processes and the vast amount of data collected from all our music providers. This means that from the time your music goes live, it will take between 6 to 9 months that we receive the data to create the report.
You will receive your first report and royalties 9 months after your music is live and has accumulated royalties. After your first report, you will receive consecutive reports every 3 months.
In the meantime, you can check the status of your music on QianQian
http://music.taihe.com/ abd QQ music https://y.qq.com/, You can translate these pages if you use Google Chrome to make navigation easier. Just search your artist name in the search box.
